“Groovy Funky Mille”

FluevogCreative gives talented and aspiring artists the chance to create a Fluevog ad that will grace the pages of magazines around the globe.
Participants are given a prompt in the form of a new shoe for the upcoming season, and are asked to create an artwork that includes or showcases the footwear. This particular prompt focused on the the new style of boot called the ‘Mille Maglia’.

The concept for 'Groovy Funky Mille' was to capture the essence of both the 60s space age aesthetic and the psychedelic band posters of the same era. The glossy patent texture of the shoe felt very futuristic, while the various colourways inspired me with how bright and bold they were.
